How should I report violations of local ordinances like boats parked in driveways or unkept yards?
The City of Carmel has a few different ways to report suspected violations City Codes and Ordinances. The easiest way is to use your cell phone to download the myCarmelapp which is a quick and efficient way to get your complaint heard.

The Code Enforcement Division will take it from there. This is a group of Community Service professionals who perform field inspections on a proactive and reactive basis. Ways to report a possible code violation to the City of Carmel:
- Download the myCarmel app to submit a concern (service request)
- Call the inspector from the Code Enforcement District in which the violation is occurring
- Email an inspector by clicking on their name in the Code Enforcement District Map. Include the following: the address and description of the possible violation and your name and contact information
