Miles Nelson was elected to the Carmel City Council in May 2019 and took office on Jan. 1, 2020.

Miles Nelson is president of AOI, an executive search firm in Carmel. Being a strong believer in volunteering, Miles Nelson most recently served as board president of the IPS Education Foundation and is an active board member of the Indy Chamber Hispanic Business Council and Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.
